If I had to describe the game in one word, it'd be: cute.

It was SO damn cute. ADORABLE. And super well written. I really liked all the characters. Amazing MC as always Cat!! super funny and likeable lol

I liked the backstories for the childhood trio and how each character was fleshed out!! The characters in this game are great

The team did amazing!! And the music was picked super well. It really made the atmosphere

I only finished Jade's route so far and I need a few more days to continue. I don't want to do everything in one go because of how good this is haha

Will be waiting for Vanilla's route!! We got little of her but since the start she became be my favorite <3

Very enjoyable 11/10 will play again

<33333 cat, you are a damn visionary, and i must thank you again for inviting me to work on this game <3 not only was it such a blast to work on but also incredibly fun to play!

first off, you and kristi kicked ass with the mini games! the moving sprites was also very creative (love you jordan yeeting into space bug-- nah but i love vanilla moving around and the zoom in and zoom outs!). more visual novels should have that dynamism/blocking and mini games tbh. the transition with the background color changes were also so good.

speaking of the art, rai did such a terrific job with the bgs aaa all the little details!! beanz' designs of the monkeys and the customizable character hair and outfit assets is so adorable and amazing!! ofc, cat, your sprite work is always so majestic to behold! all the little expressions are so cute (vanilla's expressive brows and the sparkles on michael and jordan LOLOL <3) fish's beautiful and bombastic UI tied everything together so adorably aaa (still adore the hearts on the chosen dialogue) and i am ofc excited to see the CGs and more chibis hehe <3

writing wise, i am hyped to see vanilla's and michael's routes (but take y'alls time HAHA) and will update this review when kristi and i play jade's route as well <3 but first!! caaat!! your writing style is very distinctive and fun!! i love how common route played out with mc's dynamics with each character (the very romantic coded tension with vanilla/mc and also the one mc/jade scene where they hug aYO) and ofc the other side ships <33 (thank you for agreeing to my evil plans and letting me help develop them- HAHAHA). but i think you've set a really good groundwork for great multi-love interest VN where each character exists outside of MC and they can be affected by MC's decisions in the other routes (vanilla my sweet girl). 

playing through jordan's route was really cool in the sense that i saw everything coming together and your edits also made it more cohesive <3 i love jordan rambling about capitalism and not noticing how he held mc (aaaa my type fr fr) <3 i also like the comparison between jordan and vanilla... tbh it seems that those two are more shy with gap moe while jade and michael are the more outgoing flirty ones. hence why jordan/vanilla and jade/michael do not work out but jade/vanilla, michael/jordan, and michael/vanilla work and in this essay i will-- HAHAHA nah but if anyone's reading this, please ship whatever floats your boat! and tag me because i'm easily convinced /lighthearted HAHA

ANYWAY, everyone go play this amazing game by a super sweet and talented team!! more to come <3

Jordan was so excited to confess his love for us. I could say he.. was blown away! hahaha! (Quite literally. Either that or he's straight up been shot up into the corners of the observable universe.)

WOOOO GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!! 🎉🎉

AAAHHH this was too adorable, I got diabetes from both the chocolate and the sweetness of the game !! >_< Your sprites are always so well-drawn and I really love how emotive the expressions are! The characters personalities really shined through in that aspect. (Also I love how you left in the unflinching Vanilla smile when roasting Michael 😂😂😂)

All of the mini-games are so well-made too, amazing work Cat and Kristi!! Bean’s monkes of course brought such an adorable polish to the player experience !! (I can’t wait to see the chibis added in too hehehe). And I think I’ve probably said this a couple times but Fish’s UI is seriously so great!! It really set the precedent for the game’s aesthetic 🙌

The group banter is also really funny, the cheesy rom-com humor was top-notch and I really grew attached to everyone! (justice for Vanilla TT !!) I really enjoyed how the vibes of Jade’s and Jordan’s route were different, yet really fulfilling and heartwarming! El did a great job writing for Jordan, his nerdy and sweet personality was just too cute and I really love how his small gestures towards MC conveyed his feelings in the sweetest way🥹. For Jade’s route I especially enjoyed the descriptions of romance and the portrayal of falling in love, it was so evocative aaaa 😫❤️ ( also jade has freckles I didn’t even realize until the zoom !!) and side-note, their fears and struggles are so relatable.

ALSO Jordan’s sprite (torso?) gets launched into the stratosphere during the fireworks confession, I got a hearty laugh out of it but I don’t know if it was intentional so i wanted to let you know LOL 😂😂

I had a blast being a part of this and I’m still really happy that you like my backgrounds 🥹❤️ The BG zooms are also so smart?? I didn’t realize it would work out like that hahah but it worked out!! Thank you for having me on Cat! (And I’m super excited to get to the rest of those backgrounds🔥) Ok now I’ll stop before this review gets too long but will I return with a probably even longer review when the final build is out? Yes😂
